    Kings Park is so old and shot why does it have like 5 Chinese restaurants within a .5 mile radius?

    Its cheap, its affordable, and pretty fast. China Gourmet isn't breaking down any walls here, especially when your main clientele are high school and middle school students from the hours of 1 to 4 pm. The menu is standard NY Chinese style, i don't think they delivered cause i would always have to order from the place in Smithtown on Main Street since KP didn't do so.

    Their fried rice isn't the nice brown type with the vegetables, its yellow and mushy. I guess thats how they standout. When Kings Park is closed, quiet, and dead, China Gourmet is there to meet your needs.

    The food is only ok now. The worst part is the poor children they force to work there. They are extremely rude and do not care about the place at all. I know its not really the kids fault as I am sure they are working for free while having their parents yell at them all day. As a customer you want to be greeted warmly and you do not feel that here. Its a shame. Try hiring workers with a living wage and maybe we would see some friendly faces!

    Have been coming to this place for 15 years.
    I will never go there again.
    Food was terrible.
    Returned soup and they cursed me out.
    Calling board of health tomorrow.
    There were things I saw in the back that did not look normal.
    DO NOT GO
    IT WAS REALLY BAD

    This place used to be good. The quality has went down a lot. The scallion pancakes that I got were stale and cracker like. I have also heard from other reviews that the service is really bad. I will not be coming back here again. You should not go here either.

    Food is pretty typical for chinese takeout. Not terrible or great. The reason for this review is the very rude girl who takes the delivery orders. I have ordered delivery three times now and each time she is rude and unfriendly. There are plenty of other local Chinese places to choose from and won't be ordering from China Gourmet anymore.
